高雄市農產因受到尼伯特颱風重創，造成香蕉、木瓜及番石榴等重要作物受損嚴重，累積農損金額已達新臺幣一億三千萬元。
副市長許立明、立委邱議瑩、議員林富寶及農糧署等單位於日前確認災情後，經由邱議瑩立委積極爭取農業天然災害現金救助，農委會已於昨（十一）日公告高雄市為農業天然災害現金救助及辦理低利貸款地區，農民種植作物受損超過二十%者，即日起至廿一日前向土地所在地公所提出申請現金救助，需辦理低利貸款之農民，則前往農會辦理。
農業局表示，本次現金救助以符合「農業天然災害救助辦法」規定者，其申請救助項目損失率達二十%以上者，救助額度依「農業天然災害現金救助項目及額度」標準，受損未達二十%者不予救助。
農業局再次呼籲，請農友務必於七月廿一日前，持身分證、印章、農會存款簿及土地所有權狀或土地使用同意書等相關文件，盡速向區公所申辦。
